EPA Region 10 Tribal Environmental Leaders Summit

TELS was not held in 2025 & 2026. While TELS will not be held this summer and is not expected to continue in its current format for the foreseeable future, EPA Region 10 has shared that the goals and intent of TELS will continue to be supported through existing Tribal–EPA engagement opportunities, including the RTOC, the NTOC, Tribal consultation, technical workgroups, regional town halls, and other collaborative forums.

TELS was traditionally held every other year on Tribal lands within the states of EPA Region 10 and served as an opportunity for Tribal Leaders, environmental staff, and EPA representatives to connect, share information, and discuss Tribal environmental priorities and issues affecting Tribal communities across the region.

WOIA and the RTOC remain committed to supporting meaningful Tribal engagement, elevating Tribal priorities, and strengthening communication and coordination between Tribal Nations and EPA Region 10. We will continue working alongside Tribal and EPA partners to identify opportunities that support collaboration, information sharing, and government-to-government engagement across the region.
